University of Oregon Chapter History
The Untamable Upsilon Chapter was founded on the campus of the University of Oregon on October 9th, 2009. Thanks to seven strong dedicated Latina women, Suleima Torres-Cortez, Inga Ascensio, Laura Guerrero, Martha La Rosa, Patricia Munoz, Libni Tobar, and Adriana Romero.
The chapter however became dormant for a couple of years after the active house graduated. But after the efforts of the surrounding chapters in the PNW in the Spring of 2019 another seven ladies brought back Upsilon from its dormancy.
Since then Upsilon Chapter has continued to grow. We reach out to offer many more opportunities to undergraduate womxn that share our mission and vision. We strive to stand out among Greek organizations that help out the community by living fully up to our values of Honesty, Integrity, Leadership, Scholarship, and Unity.
